When you buy an Essential SSL Certificate from Vidahost
After receiving your order we generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and pass it along to the certificate authorities for processing.
We approve your order by sending a verification email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If this mailbox doesn't exist, our support team can assist you.
Usually straight away, we then retrieve your signed certificate from the issuing authority and install it on to your hosting environment.
Finally, your site needs to be SSL activated; this is usually automated, but occasionally can require our support team to activate it manually.
