Redirects in cPanel

How to set up redirects within the cPanel control panel

Redirects allows you to redirect a specific page to another page. This is particularly useful if the user has wrongly entered a page or a URL name that is not accessible. The accessed page could also be an error page.

To create Redirects

  1. Login to your CPanel Account.

  2. From the CPanel Home page account Click on Redirects icon under the Domains panel.

  1. The Redirects page opens.

  2. To add a Redirect, select the type of redirect either Permanent(301) or Temporary(302) from the drop-down list.

  1. Select a single Domain or all domains that you want to redirect.

  1. Enter the redirect URL in Redirects to text box.

  1. Select the option of redirection by selecting the correct radio button.

  1. Click on the Add button to add the Redirect.

  2. To remove redirects from the current available redirect click on  the remove button of that redirect.
