No Hidden Fees Whatsoever!

At Vidahost we try to be as transparent as possible with our costs.

Registrations cost £2.79£3.28/Year (in two year sets) for .UK domains, and £6.49£7.63/Year for international standard domains (.com/net/biz/org/info). Premium domains, such as .mobi and .eu, cost more. You can point your domains to us, or to someone else by changing the nameservers - we do not mind and there are no extra charges for either.

Late Renewals and Redemption
We send out renewal reminders 60, 30 and 7 and 0 days in advance of a domain's expiry date. If we have your card details on file, your domain will be automatically renewed.

If you pay manually but miss a payment for your domain and it expires, you have 30 days in which to renew it with no extra charge. After that period your domain goes into redemption.

Should you then wish to renew the domain you must pay a redemption charge of approximately £100 (the exact cost depends upon the type of domain and when it was registered.)

To clarify: if you renew before, or within 30 days after the due date, there are no extra fees.

Transferring away from Vidahost
If for some reason you decide to transfer your domains away from us, that is not a problem. We can provide authorisation codes for international domains, and can change IPS TAGs for UK domains. There is no charge for this service.

Transfer Restrictions
There are some global time restrictions on domain name transfers, which will apply. No domains can be transferred when expired or within 60 days of registration (.UK domains are excepted from this last rule.)
