Who are we?

A little bit about Vidahost

Vidahost is a brand of Thermal Degree Limited, a Bath-based IT company which has been providing online hosting solutions to home and business users since 2002. During this time we have been in stable, profitable operation and host a full spectrum of clients from individual hobby sites, to large organisations and household names.

We specialise in providing a friendly, cost-effective service with packages from just £17 per year. We enjoy assisting small business operators with their first web presence, but also provide the power and expertise that advanced users require, hosting websites which receive millions of hits a month!

We maintain excellent relationships with all our customers. We answer every e-mail promptly and fully answer any questions, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We are also website owners, designers and developers: we use the tools we provide and are always able to usefully respond to any issues you might have with our systems. Additionally, the diversity of sites we host gives us the experience to make the best possible suggestions, no matter what your requirements.

Where is my site hosted?

All our servers are located in the premium Bluesquare datacentre near Maidenhead, connected to core network facilites in the Redbus Meridian Gate datacentre of the London Docklands. This makes us an excellent choice for UK and European users, especially businesses requiring the best speed and reliability possible.

Having chosen our providers carefully, we can now claim more than 24 months 100% network uptime.

Our Pricing

We believe hosting should be accessible to all, and that's why our Shared Hosting plans start at just £2.99/month, or £17/year (+VAT)!

We hope our pricing is as clear as possible, and what you see is what you pay - unlike some other providers, we don't have any 'small print' or 'hidden charges'. It's always free to transfer away a domain, and we don't charge any cancellation fees. In fact if you cancel during a prepaid period, we'll credit un-used months to your account!

Performance

We have invested in the latest Dell hardware to ensure excellent performance, and only sell what we can provide while maintaining our high quality service. Happy clients, we believe, are worth more than squeezing 'just one more' account onto a server.

For those running larger websites we have created our Premium Hosting range, whereby we locate you on our best equipment and will never add more than 10 larger websites to the same server, allowing your site a bigger share of the resources.
